Sweaters this season
We all love sweaters. We don't really know the reason why but we'll always keep wearing sweaters and look good in them. Sweaters will probably never go obsolete like other items that become overtaken by changing trends in fashion. So, as you have already imagined, sweaters are hot for fall 2008! Sweaters with both wide and narrow belts are in style! Oversized and slim-fitting sweaters are still in! Nubby, chunky knits are still trendy this autumn. Sweaters with floppy, huge turtlenecks are hot as well! I probably don't need to mention the layering with sweaters which is so hip.
Cashmere remains this autumn's essential and will probably continue to be popular season after season. This also applies to cable knit sweaters that never seem to go out of style. Long sweaters are back into style as you may already know. Classic knitwear is vintage. Vintage is cool. Grandmother's wardrobe is the coolest. Wearing sweaters that are popular with senior citizens is so in this season. So listen to my advice and ask your grandmother to hand you some of her carefully knit sweaters. Add a pencil-thin or a large belt and you'll nail down a perfect, stylish, vintage look. Make sure you pick pumpkin orange, mustard yellow, dark green and rusty red sweaters, as these are key colors this autumn.
