Christmas Sweater

Christmas sweaters are one of the best way to express your overflowing holiday spirit! A garment typically made of a heavier, but not overwhelmingly restricting wool. Holiday Christmas sweaters are typically colorful, ornate, and often, 3-dimensional with it's fancy embellishments and seasonal tidbits!
Christmas sweaters are not just for little old ladies anymore! In recent years, the popularity of Christmas sweaters has reached an all-time high, if for no other reason than to poke fun at the hilarity of them! Instead of the normal holiday party, some folks are hosting "Christmas Sweater Parties", or the more amusing, "Ugly Christmas Sweater Parties"!
Since the Christmas sweater is seasonal, and must be stored away for 11 months of the year, it is important to take good care of the sweater during the off-season months. When caring for any sweater, it's important to read the tag and follow the careful instructions provided. However, when in doubt, it's best to hand wash, as Christmas sweaters often have ornamentation that involves glitter, gems, jewels, and fabric decorations.
When hand-washing has been completed, lay the sweater flat to dry. It may take a day or two to completely dry (and perhaps a flip of the sweater), but it's important to assure the sweater is 100% before storing it away. Fold the sweater neatly, assuring that all shoulders, seams and necklines are exactly as they should be. Store in a cool, dry, dark place, and sprinkle a few cedar chips near it to keep moths away for the rest of the months.
